The fandom and pride that Torontonians feel for the Toronto Raptors is huge and spans literally every community in the GTA. This campaign is a celebration of the city’s diversity and an ode to Toronto’s unique style through the lens of the basketball community. Each piece of the campaign was developed in collaboration with Toronto Raptors fans and players. It features Toronto’s own Dalano Banton and Pascal Siakam as well as local hip hop legend, Jimmy Prime. I remember running through the aisles with my sister when it was brand new, smelling all the cool spices and testing all the lipsticks. Helping find a unique position for the brand has been super fun and it also feels good giving back for all those gummies I stole from the bulk section. Canadian food has a reputation for being undefinable. It’s even been said that Canada has no cuisine. But real Canadians know the glory of Sunday dimsum, of hot takeout samosas, of trying a friend’s grandma’s home cooking. Real Canadian food is diverse and incredible.
